Job summary

Oasis Academy Pinewood in Oasis family is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support SEND learners within a caring, inclusive school community. The role is fixed-term until 22 July 2027, with term-time hours and a focus on creating supportive, engaging learning environments.

You’ll work closely with teachers, build positive relationships with families, and contribute to high-quality SEND provisions across the academy, benefiting from extensive CPD opportunities and excellent IT resources.

Qualifications

• Experience as Learning Support Assistant in an inclusive school
• Ability to support SEND students effectively
• Commitment to holistic education and student wellbeing

Responsibilities

• Lead learning support for identified SEND students under guidance of the class teacher
• Create inclusive learning environments and adapt activities to individual needs
• Build strong relationships with families to support attendance and achievement
