Oasis Academy Connaught in Bristol is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support learning and inclusion across the academy. You will work under teachers, adapt materials, monitor progress and support pupils with SEND in a positive learning environment.

This part-time, term-time role offers a fixed-term contract until 31/08/2027 with DBS checks and opportunities to contribute to student development and safeguarding practices.

Qualificações

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above or an equivalent Level 2 qualification.
• Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or equivalent is required.
• Previous TA experience in a school setting is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support high-quality teaching and learning for individuals and small groups.
• Adapt learning materials to meet diverse learner needs.
• Assist teachers in monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress.
• Support pupils with SEND, including EHCP involvement.
• Promote social, emotional and personal development.
• Encourage independence and positive behaviour.
• Prepare and organise classroom resources and environments.
• Supervise pupils during lessons, breaks and visits.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and external professionals.
• Support examination invigilation and academy activities.
