Job summary

Oasis Academy Pinewood, part of Oasis Community Learning, is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to support students with SEND. You will work closely with class teachers to create rich, inclusive learning environments and help pupils achieve their potential within a caring school community.

This 30-hour, term-time only role is fixed term until 22 July 2027, offering strong CPD opportunities, excellent IT provision, and a supportive team in a beautiful location at the edge of a country park

Qualifications

• Experience as Learning Support Assistant in an inclusive school.
• Ability to support identified SEND students and work with class teachers.
• Commitment to helping children achieve from varied starting points.
• Willingness to engage with families and maintain wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning support for identified SEND students.
• Work autonomously and under direction of class teacher.
• Build strong relationships with families to boost achievement, attendance and wellbeing.
