Job summary

Oasis Academy Bank Leaze in Bristol is seeking an Assistant Principal for SEND and Inclusion on a 0.6 FTE basis (3 days per week). You will lead the strategic development of our inclusive provision, ensuring every child receives support, challenge and opportunity to flourish.

You will work with teachers, families and external partners to secure strong outcomes for pupils with SEND and those facing disadvantage, develop high-quality inclusive practice, and contribute to the senior leadership

Qualifications

• Proven track record of improving SEND outcomes.
• Strong commitment to inclusion and equality.
• Knowledge of current SEND legislation and provision.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop staff.
• Builds strong relationships with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for SEND and inclusion.
• Champion high expectations and outcomes for pupils with SEND.
• Lead inclusive teaching and classroom practice.
• Collaborate with staff, families and external agencies to secure outcomes.
• Drive early identification and effective intervention.
• Contribute to the Senior Leadership Team's strategy.
• Ensure children’s voices and family partnerships inform decisions.
