Job summary

Codi Group in Wales is seeking a confident and passionate Assistant Chef to create delicious, nutritious meals for tenants at our new CODI Extra Care Service in Porth. This part-time role (22 hours) supports the catering team and aims to make mealtimes something residents look forward to.

You will work in a fresh kitchen, source ingredients, and ensure Health & Safety standards, assisting with menu design and dietary needs in a not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Great communicator with tenants, service managers, and colleagues.
• Experience in a professional fresh-food kitchen and a basic catering qualification.
• Organised and detail-focused—manage menu planning, stock, HACCP, and safety records.
• Positive, supportive, and inclusive team player.

Responsibilities

• Create delicious, nutritious meals for tenants daily.
