Job summary

Delta Wellbeing Ltd is seeking a Catering Assistant to join a busy team in Wales. The role involves assisting the Cook with nutritious meals, maintaining hygiene, and supporting daily catering tasks. Hours are 20 per week on a rota including mornings and evenings, with pro-rata benefits for part-time work.

DBS disclosure may be required. Applicants should be flexible, able to work alone or as part of a team, and have a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic food safety. Training will be given.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Ability to build good relationships with adults based on mutual respect.
• Ability to work on their own and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cook in preparing nutritious meals.
• Set up and clear tables, general cleaning duties.
• Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
• Support the homes needs as required.
