Job summary

HC-One Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator part-time for 20 hours per week on a rota across seven days. You will plan and deliver engaging activities for residents across our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes, working closely with the Home Manager to support fundraising and social opportunities.

We value kindness, strong planning and IT skills, and experience with vulnerable individuals.

Qualifications

• Background working with vulnerable individuals.
• Experience developing activity programmes.
• Strong planning, organisational and IT skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and communicate kindly with residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities that delight residents across dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care.
• Assist Home Manager in organising fundraising events and social activities.
• Encourage residents to socialise and participate in new activity ideas.
• Involve the care home team in activities to promote engagement and well-being.
• Demonstrate kindness, safeguard residents and follow safeguarding procedures.
