Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator for a 30-hour-per-week role within our care homes. You will plan and run activities that delight Residents, help the Home Manager organise fundraising events, and encourage social engagement with kindness at the core of everything you do.

The successful candidate will have experience with vulnerable individuals, strong planning and IT skills, and a genuine, supportive approach. Safeguarding training and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• Background with vulnerable individuals or settings.
• Experience developing activity programmes is preferred.
• Strong planning, organisational and IT skills.
• Demonstrates kindness, empathy and ability to engage residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities to delight Residents.
• Assist Home Manager with fundraising events and resident engagement.
• Encourage residents to socialise and participate in activities across the home.
• Collaborate with care-home staff to deliver a varied activity programme.
