Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Parcel Delivery Driver at Farnham Delivery Office. You will deliver parcels, prep your van and use route-planning tools to hit daily targets. The role is 37 hours per week with a 12:00–20:00 schedule and requires weekend work as planned.

You will need a full UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points, and you’ll interact with customers as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail.

Qualifications

• UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Able to work in the afternoons and evenings.
• Excellent customer service and present Royal Mail positively.

Responsibilities

• Prep your van and workload for the day.
• Use route-planning technology to ensure parcels reach the right place on time.
• Deliver parcels across your assigned area, across 5 days per week.
• Interact with customers and represent Royal Mail in a positive way.

Hours: 37:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 12:00 and 20:00

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan. Sunday working will be from 10:00 to 18:00 2 every 8 Sundays

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
