Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Parcel Delivery Driver in Crawley. You will be part of a multi-drop team delivering parcels and services to customers, using route-planning tech to ensure timely deliveries.

Role includes preparing the van and workload, interacting with customers as a representative of Royal Mail, and working 37 hours across five days with occasional weekend shifts. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-drop driver team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels on your route securely and on time.
• Prep your van and workload for the day and use route-planning tools.

Hours: 37:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 10:20 and 19:00

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan.

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
