Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting a Parcel Delivery Driver in Crawley. You will be part of a small team delivering parcels and helping customers, using route-planning tools to ensure on-time arrivals.

You will work 37 hours per week, across five days including weekends, with an hourly rate of £13.68 and full uniform provided. The role offers a company pension, career development opportunities, and family-friendly benefits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels across the week in the assigned area as part of a multi-drop route.
• Prepping your van and workload for the day using route-planning tools.
• Securely delivering all items on your route, including election materials when required.

Hours: 37:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 10:20 and 19:00

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan.

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
