Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Ware is hiring a Parcel Delivery Driver on a 9-month fixed-term contract. You will work 30 hours per week across Monday to Sunday, 09:00-15:00 or 14:00-20:00, with a local Saturday/Sunday rota.

You will deliver parcels using route-planning tools and prep your van for daily loads. You will be an ambassador for Royal Mail, delivering great customer service and requiring a full UK manual driving licence with up to six penalty points.

Hours: 30 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 09:00 - 15:00 or 14:00 - 20:00

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan. Sunday hours are 09:00 - 15:00

A bit about you

• Enjoy a multi drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area
• Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
