Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Parcel Delivery Driver to join our Farnham team. You will be part of a multi-drop operation, delivering parcels and handling election materials where required, while using route-planning tools to ensure on-time delivery.

The role demands a full UK manual driving licence with up to six points, and flexibility to work 12:00–20:00, including weekends on a rota. A permanent contract with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Reliable, organised and punctual with good initiative.
• Comfortable engaging with customers and acting as a positive ambassador.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels as part of a multi-drop route across the Farnham area.
• Assist with van prep and workload planning for the day.
• Use route-planning tools to ensure parcels reach the right place at the right time.

Job type: Permanent contract

Hours: 37:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 12:00 and 20:00

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan. Sunday working will be from 10:00 to 18:00 2 every 8 Sundays

A bit about you

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
