Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Parcel Delivery Driver for a permanent role in Newbury. You will work 32 hours per week, Wednesday to Sunday, between 13:00 and 19:00, with Saturday and Sunday shifts required as operational demand.

You will be part of a team delivering parcels and assisting customers, using route planning tools to ensure accuracy and timeliness. A UK manual licence with up to 6 penalty points is required, and you will enjoy benefits including holiday allowance, pension, uniform,

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Ability to work in the afternoon and early evenings.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and representing Royal Mail.

Responsibilities

Hours: 32:00 hours per week, working 5 days Wednesday - Sunday, working between 13:00 and 19:00

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
