Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique, financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning, currently a paraplanner but wanting to progress into a Junior Adviser position. The candidate will support 2 advisors, learn the business, meet clients, and gradually take on advisory responsibilities, including managing some client relationships.

This well-established independent and directly authorised firm is committed to fostering talent from within and offers development pathways, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor, with potential for succession planning as a partner plans to retire in the coming years.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Onboarding new clients and supporting existing clients
  • Assisting financial advisors in client meetings
  • Sending out letters of authority
  • Liaising with product providers
  • Collaborating closely with the administrator
  • Performing general administrative duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a background in paraplanning or junior advising, hold the DipFA or equivalent Level 4 qualification, and be willing to undertake a dual paraplanning/junior adviser role until fully integrated within the firm. The candidate should also aspire to achieve chartered status and thrive in a supportive, busy team environment.
