Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning, currently a paraplanner but wanting to progress into a Junior Adviser position. The candidate will support 2 advisors, learn the business, meet clients, and gradually take on advising responsibilities and manage client relationships.

This well-established independent and directly authorised firm is committed to internal talent development, offering training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor, with potential for succession planning as a partner plans to retire in a few years.

The duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Onboarding new clients and supporting existing clients
  2. Supporting a financial advisor during client meetings
  3. Sending out letters of authority
  4. Liaising with product providers
  5. Collaborating with the administrator
  6. Performing general administrative duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning or junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or equivalent level 4 qualification, and be willing to perform both paraplanning and junior advising roles until fully integrated into the firm. The candidate should aspire to achieve chartered status and enjoy working within a supportive, busy team.
