We are partnering with a boutique, financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning. The ideal candidate is currently a paraplanner but wants to progress into a Junior Adviser position.

Our client is looking for someone to paraplane for 2 advisors, while learning the business and how they operate. During this time, you will meet clients, gradually take on advisory responsibilities, and be entrusted with some of the client book to build.

This well-established, independent, and directly authorised firm is committed to fostering talent from within. They offer a development pathway, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor. There is also potential for succession planning, as one of the partners plans to retire in a few years and intends to hand over the business and clients to the adviser team.

Key Duties:
  1. Onboarding new clients and supporting in servicing existing clients
  2. Supporting a financial advisor in client meetings
  3. Sending out letters of authority
  4. Liaising with product providers
  5. Working closely with the administrator
  6. General administration duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning or junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or equivalent Level 4 qualifications, and be willing to perform both paraplanning and junior advising roles until fully integrated within the firm. The candidate should aspire to work towards chartered status and enjoy being part of a supportive, busy team.
