Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning. The ideal candidate is currently a paraplanner but wants to progress into a Junior Adviser position. The role involves supporting two advisors, learning the business, and gradually taking on client advice responsibilities.

This well-established independent and directly authorised firm is committed to fostering talent from within and offers a development pathway, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor. There is potential for succession planning, as one of the partners plans to retire in a few years and intends to hand over the business and clients to the adviser team.

Key duties include:

  • Onboarding new clients and supporting existing clients
  • Supporting financial advisors in client meetings
  • Sending out letters of authority
  • Liaising with product providers
  • Working closely with the administrator
  • General administration duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning or junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or equivalent level 4 qualifications, and be willing to perform both paraplanning and junior advising roles until fully integrated into the firm. The candidate should also aim to work towards chartered status and enjoy being part of a supportive, busy team.
