Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning, currently a paraplanner but aiming to progress into a Junior Adviser position. The candidate will support 2 advisors, learn the business, meet clients, and gradually take on advisory responsibilities, including managing a client book.

This well-established independent and directly authorised firm offers a development pathway, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. It provides an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor, with potential for succession planning as a partner plans to retire in a few years.

The main duties include:

  • Onboarding new clients and supporting existing clients
  • Assisting a financial advisor in client meetings
  • Sending out letters of authority
  • Liaising with product providers
  • Working closely with the administrator
  • General administrative duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning/junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or equivalent level 4 qualification, and be willing to perform both paraplanning and junior advising roles until fully integrated into the firm. The candidate should aim to work towards chartered status and thrive in a supportive, busy team environment.
