Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning. The ideal candidate is currently a paraplanner but wants to progress into a Junior Adviser position. The role involves supporting two advisors, learning the business, meeting clients, and gradually taking on advising responsibilities and managing client relationships.

This well-established, independent, and directly authorized firm is committed to internal talent development, offering a clear career pathway, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor, with potential for succession planning as one partner plans to retire in the coming years.

Key duties include:

  • Onboarding new clients and supporting existing client services
  • Assisting a financial advisor in client meetings
  • Sending out letters of authority
  • Liaising with product providers
  • Collaborating with the administrator
  • Performing general administrative duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a background in paraplanning or junior advising, hold the DipFA or equivalent Level 4 qualification, and be willing to perform dual paraplanning/junior advising roles until fully integrated into the firm. The candidate should also aspire to achieve chartered status and thrive within a supportive, busy team.
