Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique, financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning, currently a paraplanner but eager to progress into a Junior Adviser position. The candidate will support 2 advisors, learn the business, and gradually take on client meetings, advice responsibilities, and manage parts of the client book.

This well-established independent and directly authorised firm is committed to developing talent from within, offering training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor. There is potential for succession planning, as one partner plans to retire in a few years and transfer the business and clients to the advisory team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Onboarding new clients and supporting existing client services
  • Assisting financial advisors in client meetings
  • Sending out letters of authority
  • Liaising with product providers
  • Collaborating closely with administrative staff
  • Performing general administrative duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning or junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or equivalent Level 4 qualification, and be willing to undertake a dual paraplanning/junior adviser role until fully integrated into the firm. The candidate should aspire to achieve chartered status and thrive in a supportive, busy team environment.
