Recruit UK is working with a dynamic and growing wealth management firm in Brighton that’s looking for a talented professional to join their team in a hybrid role combining paraplanning and client relationship responsibilities.

About the Role:

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of financial planning but also thrives on building relationships and keeping the client journey smooth, proactive, and personal.

You’ll be supporting advisers and working closely with clients, helping to manage portfolios, process new business, prepare reports, and ensure top-tier service delivery. The role is varied, hands-on, and client-facing perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy and likes to see the direct impact of their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support a portfolio of client cases across pensions, investments, and protection
  • Liaise with providers, platforms, and clients to process and track new business applications
  • Prepare client files and documentation ahead of adviser meetings
  • Draft suitability reports and illustrations based on adviser recommendations
  • Handle incoming client queries and proactively keep them updated
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all compliance (KYC/AML) requirements are met
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service and follow-up

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in financial planning, paraplanning, or client services within an IFA/wealth management environment
  • Good working knowledge of financial products including pensions, investments, and protection
  • Confidence in client communication both written and verbal
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Familiarity with CRM/back-office systems and compliance procedures
