Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is assisting a Bristol-based, busy accident repair centre to recruit a skilled Panel Beater / MET Technician. The role offers a strong salary, excellent benefits, and clear opportunities for career progression within a nationwide organisation.

You will work in a modern workshop, handle bodywork repairs to high standards, and contribute to EV/ADAS repair projects while developing technical expertise in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised automotive Panel Beating or MET discipline preferred.
• IMI qualification desirable.
• Experience with EV/ADAS repair methods advantageous.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake replacement and repair of damaged bodywork panels.
• Complete chassis and framework repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Welding and panel bonding as required.
• Bumper and door repairs.
• Mechanical and electrical repair work to high standards.
• Proven experience in replacing mechanical parts.
• Confidently strip and refit vehicle components.
• Assist with repairs involving EVs and ADAS.
• Work efficiently under pressure, adhering to deadlines.
• Follow job cards to ensure high-quality standards.
• Support team members during busy periods as the Panel Beater / MET Technician.
