Qualifications

• Recognised automotive Panel Beating or MET discipline preferred.
• IMI qualification desirable.
• Experience with EV/ADAS repair methods advantageous.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake replacement and repair of damaged bodywork panels.
• Complete chassis and framework repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Welding and panel bonding as required.
• Bumper and door repairs.
• Mechanical and electrical repair work to high standards.
• Proven experience in replacing mechanical parts.
• Confidently strip and refit vehicle components.
• Assist with repairs involving EVs and ADAS.
• Work efficiently under pressure, adhering to deadlines.
• Follow job cards to ensure high-quality standards.
• Support team members during busy periods as the Panel Beater / MET Technician.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Panel Beater / MET Technician to join our client’s busy accident repair centre in Bristol.

• Salary up to £59,800 per annum (£21-23 per hour), dependent on experience and qualifications
• Paid breaks included in the overall working hours - 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays

Duties

• Undertake replacement and repair of damaged bodywork panels

Requirements

• Recognised qualification in automotive Panel Beating or Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim (MET) discipline preferred
• Working towards an IMI qualification is desirable
• individuals with extensive experience and no formal qualifications will also be considered
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workload
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points essential
