Job summary

Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw Children’s Hospice seeks a Team Lead Registered Nurse to guide the multidisciplinary team in delivering specialist palliative and end-of-life care. You will lead by example, Champion high standards, and drive service development while ensuring safety, compassion and person-centred care for patients and families.

Working alongside senior leads you will nurture professional growth, manage resources and contribute to a culture where every voice is valued and learning

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration.
• Proven experience leading clinical teams in a palliative/oncology setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding, governance and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible clinical leadership and role model excellence in palliative care.
• Coordinate nursing staff to deliver safe, compassionate care.
• Promote independent, dignified and patient-centered care.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and staff development.
• Lead quality improvement and use outcome data to enhance care.
• Ensure clear documentation and effective medicines management.
