The Hospice invites applications for a Senior Staff Nurse to lead a small nursing team delivering pain and symptom control, complex psychological support and end of life care. You will develop specialist knowledge in symptom management and contribute to MDT discussions across West Cheshire and Deeside.

The role offers a 30-hour week with a shift pattern across 7 days, induction support, and access to NHS/hospice pension schemes, ongoing learning and confidential counselling services.

Qualifications

• Be able to oversee planning and delivery of outstanding care for an identified group of patients.
• Provide initial and ongoing assessment and develop/evaluate care plans.
• Act as nurse in charge and lead a shift.
• Contribute to MDT meetings and coordinate with West Cheshire and Deeside services.
• Line manage health care assistants.
• Respond to Out of Hours queries via the Hospice Advice Line.
