Duties and Responsibilities

As a Painter & Decorator, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following areas:

• Carry out painting works program.
• Perform painting maintenance requests and preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain personal tools and look after general tools.
• Keep records of assignments and produce detailed work reports.
• Maintain a clean working area at all times.
• Use personal safety gear for safety while on duty.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Painter & Decorator, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, demonstrating proven results. These include:

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
• Knowledge of various types of paints, varnishes, and stains for interior and exterior surfaces. Skills in paint application and removal, including spray painting.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are preferred.
