Duties and Responsibilities

As Reservation Host, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of:

• Processing new reservations, updating and cleaning reservations, processing advance deposits, answering reservation emails within 24 hours, processing reports (No Shows, ORS Comments, Commission, etc.), and other reservation-related duties as assigned.
• Assisting in all allocation of rooms.
• Checking and handling special requests and hard blocking rooms as needed.
• Contacting guests or travel agents to clarify any discrepancies in preferences or requests before guests’ arrival.
• Tracking future room availabilities based on reservations.
• Monitoring and updating internet reservation systems in coordination with relevant hosts.
• Assisting in determining room rates based on the resort’s selling tactics.
• Assisting in the management of guest history and profile systems.
• Ensuring all reservations daily are completed with all necessary guest information, profile details, and rate/market/source codes with accuracy and efficiency.
• Upholding Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
• Strictly adhering to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

To execute the role of Reservation Host effectively, I must possess the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, with proven results, including:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience in a similar setting. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Technical skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with hotel systems such as PMS, GDS, and CRS platforms. Knowledge of hotel/resort policies regarding reservations, discounts, MICE platforms, and detailed procedures for handling local and overseas bookings.
