Duties and Responsibilities

As a Painter & Decorator, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the following tasks:

• Carry out painting work programs.
• Handle painting maintenance requests and preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain personal tools and look after general tools.
• Keep records of assignments and produce detailed work reports.
• Maintain a clean working area at all times.
• Use personal safety gear for safety while on duty.
• Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

To perform the role of Painter & Decorator, I must possess the necessary qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, with proven results, including:

• A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in a similar environment.
• Technical skills including knowledge of various paints, varnishes, stains, and application techniques such as spray painting for interior and exterior surfaces.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are preferred.
