Job summary

A leading manufacturing recruitment agency is seeking a Paint Sprayer in Sheffield. The successful candidate will apply high-temperature paints to metal components, ensuring a high-quality finish. Responsibilities include prepping and cleaning parts, carrying out quality checks, and general workshop support. Ideal candidates should have industrial spray painting experience and a proactive work ethic. This is a temporary position with potential for permanent placement.

Paint Sprayer

Rates: £14ph – £15ph. Days: Monday – Friday. Location: Sheffield – S20. 12‑Week Temporary with possibility of permanent.

Metalis are currently working alongside a leading manufacturing company based in Sheffield who are looking for a Paint Sprayer to join the team!

Responsibilities
  • Mixing and applying high‑temperature paints to metal components.
  • Spray painting to a high‑quality finish using professional equipment.
  • Prepping, cleaning, and assembling parts using hand tools.
  • Carrying out quality checks and completing relevant documentation.
  • Packing and loading finished goods.
  • Supporting general workshop duties, including light machining and maintenance.
Shifts & Salary
  • Pay: £14ph – £15ph.
  • Hours: Monday – Thursday 7am–5pm; Friday 7am–12:30pm.
  • Duration: 12‑Week Temporary (weekly pay for first 12 weeks) – Permanent.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in industrial spray painting (metalwork preferred).
  • A proactive, flexible approach and pride in your work.
