Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle paint systems, colour matching, blending and refinishing techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high‑quality workmanship.

THE ROLE

As a Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and refinishing accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring paintwork is completed efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for refinishing, including sanding, filling, masking and priming.
• Mix and apply paint using appropriate spray equipment and refinishing techniques.
• Carry out colour matching, blending and refinishing work to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Inspect completed paintwork and rectify imperfections where required.
• Work closely with Panel Beaters and other Bodyshop technicians to maintain an efficient repair process.
• Complete allocated repairs within agreed time scales while maintaining excellent workmanship.
• Follow relevant health and safety procedures when handling paints, solvents and workshop equipment.
• Maintain spray equipment, tools and the working area in a clean and professional condition.

ABOUT YOU

This opportunity would suit an experienced Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician / Paint Refinisher / Vehicle Painter who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes.

• Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer or Paint Technician within a professional Bodyshop or accident repair environment.
• Recognised qualification in Vehicle Refinishing (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds / ATA or equivalent), with a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle paint systems, colour matching, blending and refinishing techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining consistently high standards.
• Strong organisation and the ability to work effectively as part of a skilled workshop team.
• Professional approach to health and safety when working with paint products and workshop equipment.
• A full UK driving licence.
