Job summary

VerseOne Group is seeking an experienced administrator to support paediatric clinical teams in Basildon, UK. You will coordinate clinicians' diaries and clinic schedules, handle cancellations, and ensure timely reinstatements to maintain smooth patient journeys.

You will work with Consultants, Nurse Specialists and Junior Doctors, providing robust administrative support while ensuring compliance with RTT and cancer targets.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating clinicians' diaries and appointments.
• Experience providing administrative support to clinical staff.
• Strong telephone communication with patients and external agencies.
• Ability to manage cancellations and rescheduling of clinics.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to all clinical staff within the unit, including consultants, Nurse Specialists and Junior Doctors.
• Coordinate diaries and appointments, including cancellation and reinstatement of clinics in line with planned and unplanned leave.
• Support the Service Manager and Divisional Managers to ensure safe, effective services and target compliance (e.g., RTT and cancer).
• Act as a liaison with patients, doctors, nursing and midwifery teams and outside agencies.
