Job summary

The University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is recruiting to support ward-based education across the Paediatric unit, including Paediatric High Dependency. The post holder will work with the Paediatric Practice Education team to identify training needs and develop role-specific competencies for learners of varying registration and experience.

Qualifications

• Provide ward-based education and training to support nursing staff and healthcare workers.
• Collaborate with Practice Education teams to identify training needs and develop competencies.
• Develop and evaluate best practice within ward areas with nursing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop targeted clinical training programs and competencies for learners across registration levels.
• Plan, facilitate and enable access to learning opportunities with multidisciplinary teams.
• Cover duties during peak workloads or colleagues' absence as directed.
