• Provide ward-based education and training across the Paediatric unit.
• Identify staff learning needs and develop role-specific competencies.
• Collaborate with the Paediatric Practice Education team to implement targeted programmes.
• Willingness to participate in continuous professional development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all Trust-wide standards are maintained and monitored to improve the quality of total care.
• Comply with health and safety legislation, promoting high standards and acting to hazards or unsafe practices.
• Participate in team, professional and personal development activities and promote CPD.
• Take on agreed duties in accordance with the grade and nature of the post.
• Cover the work of colleagues during periods of absence or peak workloads.
