Job summary

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust seeks a Clinical Educator to lead education, training and development for the Children’s Directorate. The post holder will coordinate programmes, assess learning needs and support supervision, mentorship and competency development across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Current live registration on the first level / RN Child part of the NMC register.
• Educated to Diploma /Degree level, or equivalent; CPD evidence.
• Evidence of CPD and participation in training / learning development.
• Experience as a Supervisor/Assessor with clinical supervision in childrens services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training programmes and induction for the Nursing team.
• Assess learning needs and evaluate competency using action plans.
• Maintain training records and generate reports on educational activity.
• Support education in practice and provide mentorship and preceptorship.
• Liaise with Directorate Clinical Education Lead and other clinical leaders.
