Job summary

Welbeck Cambridge is seeking a compassionate healthcare assistant to support patients through imaging journeys, assisting radiographers and clinicians. You will prepare patients, act as chaperone when needed, and maintain accurate records in RIS/PACS and CompuCare.

A private healthcare setting provides opportunities to grow within a supportive team. Ideal candidates hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and have hospital or clinic experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience in a clinical healthcare environment is essential.
• Comfortable supporting patients throughout their care journey and maintaining dignity.

Responsibilities

• Support patients during imaging appointments and procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations and act as chaperone when required.
• Assist radiographers and clinicians during consultations and procedures.
• Ensure patients are treated with dignity, privacy and respect.
• Maintain accurate patient records using RIS/PACS and CompuCare.
• Support stock management, equipment checks and departmental organisation.
• Recognise and escalate patient concerns or changes in condition appropriately.
• Contribute to a safe clinical environment through infection control and governance.
