The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Overseas Officer to support the end-to-end pathway for overseas visitors. This internal role focuses on processing overseas enquiries, determining eligibility for NHS treatment, and calculating charges in line with national guidance and Trust policy.

You will work with frontline clinical and administrative teams to identify eligible patients, liaise with Finance to apply charges, and ensure a professional, confidential service

Competenze

• National overseas visitors training required.
• Experience of working with invoicing.
• Experience of working with patients and staff to provide a high quality customer experience.
• Desirable: Previous experience in Overseas Visitor administration.
• Desirable: Quality Improvement training.

Mansioni

• Identify overseas visitors and establish eligibility for NHS treatment.
• Gather information to determine charges in line with national guidance and Trust policy.
• Liaise with medical and nursing colleagues when patient is chargeable or rechargeable.
• Accurately calculate the cost of treatment and work with Finance to apply charges.
• Process payments (card, cheque, other monies) and issue receipts as required.
• Maintain accurate records and provide a discreet, professional and supportive service.
