Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Assistant Overseas Visitors Manager to join the Overseas Visitors Team across Frimley Park and Wexham Park hospitals. You will identify patients who may be chargeable for NHS treatment, determine eligibility for NHS-funded care, and provide expert guidance to staff and patients while supporting income recovery.

Strong NHS operational experience and the ability to interpret complex DHSC regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working in NHS operational roles and charging regimes.
• Ability to interpret complex legislation and apply it to clinical settings.
• Strong communication with staff, patients and external agencies.
• Supervisory experience and deputising for manager when required.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients who may be chargeable for NHS treatment.
• Assess eligibility for NHS-funded care and advise staff.
• Raise cost estimates and invoices and support debt recovery.
• Provide training and guidance to Assistant Overseas Visitors Officers.
