Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly organised Overseas Patients Co-ordinator to support overseas visitor policies and NHS charging across the Trust. The role involves interviewing patients, assessing NHS eligibility, and managing overseas visitor billing and debt recovery.

Responsibilities

• Interview overseas visitors and assess eligibility for NHS treatment.
• Monitor and bill overseas visitors, including debt recovery processes.
• Provide guidance on charging regulations across the Trust.
• Submit debtor returns to Home Office and manage FOI/data requests.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with finance, contracting, BI and clinical teams to ensure smooth operations.
