Job summary

Acuity Care Group is seeking a Female Support Worker to provide overnight one-to-one support for a woman living with a high-level spinal cord injury. The role involves personal care, safety checks, and ensuring comfort during night shifts, with occasional overlaps from the night team.

The environment is supportive, focused on preserving independence and dignity. The position offers night shifts with a weekly rota, and a pay rate of £13.13 per hour.

Qualifications

• You are patient, kind, and professional.
• You have awareness of supporting spinal injuries.
• You are confident working one-to-one during the night.
• You are reliable, discreet, and able to work with empathy and respect.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care, including Stoma bag care.
• Supporting with repositioning, using appropriate equipment.
• Monitoring wellbeing and ensuring a peaceful night’s rest.
• Promoting dignity, choice, and a person-centred approach at all times.
