We are looking for a female support worker to join a small, dedicated team providing one-to-one overnight support for a friendly and independent woman living with a high-level spinal cord injury (C6/7 Tetraplegia).
She is articulate and enjoys reading, gardening, visiting garden centres, and swimming. She values calm, capable support that allows her to maintain her independence, comfort, and dignity.
You’ll provide respectful and attentive support throughout the night, ensuring comfort, safety, and personal care needs are met. There are occasional 2:1 overlaps with another team member when needed.
This role involves:
Experience supporting someone with a spinal injury is highly valued, as is confidence in continence and bowel care. Please be aware you will be asked if you are comfortable carrying out bowel care as part of the role.
