Active Care Group is seeking a dedicated Female Support Worker to assist a woman living in Durham with spinal cord injury. The role involves day and night shifts on a 2:1 schedule, supporting personal care, stretching, physiotherapy, transfers, and driving to appointments.

We offer training, holiday pay, a Nest pension, and opportunities for progression. The role is based in Hartside, Durham, with a supportive care team and regular rotas.

Competenze

• Female applicants only (Genuine Occupational Requirement)
• Full clean UK driving licence ideal — insurance requirements

Mansioni

• Day shift: personal care and dressing, assist with stretches and exercise programmes, support physiotherapy sessions, assist with transfers and daily routines, accompany client to appointments
• Night shift: overnight support, assist with personal care including bowel care, transfers with equipment, ensure comfort and safety throughout the night
