Job summary

Active Care Group in Warwick is seeking a Live-In Support Worker to provide one-to-one, person-centred care to a male client with spinal cord injury in his family home. You will assist with daily living, personal care, and mobility, while supporting social activities and outings.

Role involves building a trusting relationship, working with a flexible zero-hours contract, and regular shifts planned in advance. Prior care experience is preferred, but attitude and willingness to learn are valued.

• Attitude and willingness to learn matter as much as experience.
• Must be male due to client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care.
• Support daily routines, personal care, moving & handling, medication, and bowel management.
• Deliver specialist clinical support (full training provided).
• Prepare meals and maintain a comfortable home environment.
• Support social activities, hobbies, and outings.
• Build a consistent, trusting relationship with the client.
