Job summary

Acuity Care Group is seeking a Female Support Worker to provide overnight one-to-one support for a woman living with a high-level spinal cord injury. The role involves personal care, safety checks, and ensuring comfort during night shifts, with occasional overlaps from the night team.

The environment is supportive, focused on preserving independence and dignity. The position offers night shifts with a weekly rota, and a pay rate of £13.13 per hour.

Job description

Female Support Worker

Pay rate: £13.13 per hour flat rate (Weekly or Monthly pay available)

Shift pattern: Waking nights - 22 hours per week - on the below rota pattern:

Week 1 - You will work Thursday & Sunday - 22:00pm – 9:15am.
Week 2 - You will work Thursday & Saturday - 22:00pm – 9:15am.

We are looking for a female support worker to join a small, dedicated team providing one-to-one overnight support for a friendly and independent woman living with a high-level spinal cord injury (C6/7 Tetraplegia). She is articulate and enjoys reading, gardening, visiting garden centres, and swimming. She values calm, capable support that allows her to maintain her independence, comfort, and dignity.

About the Role

You’ll provide respectful and attentive support throughout the night, ensuring comfort, safety, and personal care needs are met. There are occasional 2:1 overlaps with another team member when needed.
