Heartwood Collection is seeking a Night Manager in Lewes to safeguard guests during overnight stays and oversee operations outside trading hours.

You’ll handle late check-ins and room allocations, perform night audits and safety checks, supervise cleanliness, and ensure a smooth handover to the day team. The role suits a detail‑oriented, reliable person with 1–2 years' experience in hospitality.

Qualifications

• You are detail oriented and meticulous.
• Well-organised and able to use systems and communicate effectively.
• Able to work alone and solve problems independently.
• 1–2 years experience as a Night Manager in a hotel or hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Handle late guest check-ins, early check-outs, and room allocations/upgrades via PMS.
• Perform night audits and safety/security/compliance checks; hand over to Management Team.
• Ensure breakfast service preparation and thorough shift handover.
• Manage cleaning duties and oversee property cleanliness and standards.
• Evacuate the property in case of fire alarms following procedures.
