Focal Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain installations across the Bristol region on a casual, zero-hours basis. The role involves on-the-road work and at customer sites, diagnosing issues, installing equipment, and ensuring rapid, high-quality service.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence, willingness to work nights and weekends, and the ability to meet KPIs while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience in installation or maintenance.
• Proficiency with power tools and installation equipment.
• Valid UK driving licence and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Onsite and offsite maintenance of camera hardware and installations.
• Diagnose issues, install and configure per standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks.
• Respond to service calls to meet SLAs.
• Maintain records of service activities.
• Attend installations at various clients during night hours.
• Operate power tools safely.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks.
• Ensure tasks meet quality standards and KPIs.
