Job summary

Audley Villages in the United Kingdom is seeking a Night Porter to keep the village safe, welcoming and well-presented overnight. You will conduct security checks, monitor CCTV, respond to alarms and assist owners and guests with a calm, discreet presence.

The role covers overnight cleaning, managing calls, and helping prepare facilities for the day team, with training provided. You’ll work independently, prioritise tasks and maintain high standards of safety and comfort across communal areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in night security, hospitality, care, facilities or customer-facing environments is desirable.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular overnight security checks and monitor CCTV.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Provide a warm, friendly presence for owners and guests overnight.
• Supervise reception and manage overnight calls and inquiries.
• Prepare communal areas and facilities for the day team.
• Complete overnight cleaning and refuse collection.
• Maintain records and handover to day team.
