Audley Villages is seeking a Night Porter to help keep our village safe, welcoming and well-presented overnight. You will conduct security checks, respond to emergencies, and provide a reassuring presence for owners and guests.

You will also support overnight cleaning, pool/leisure prep, reception duties and administrative tasks, working confidently and independently while prioritising safety and privacy.

Qualifications

• Reliability and calm, with the ability to work independently overnight.
• Strong communication skills and good written/spoken English.
• Good literacy and numeracy; comfortable using basic computer systems.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in emergencies or unexpected situations.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Warm, empathetic, customer-focused approach and professionalism.

Responsabilités

• Carry out regular security checks and monitor CCTV per procedures.
• Respond to fire alarms and other emergencies appropriately.
• Provide a warm, professional presence for owners and guests overnight.
• Supervise reception and manage overnight calls and enquiries.
• Identify and report hazards, maintenance issues or unusual activity.
• Support owners while maintaining professional boundaries and privacy.
• Maintain high cleanliness and presentation in communal areas.
• Complete overnight cleaning, refuse collection and other duties.
• Prepare pool and leisure facilities for the next day and perform pool tests.
• Prepare areas for the day team and provide thorough handover.
