Job summary

Audley Villages is seeking a Night Porter to keep our village safe, welcoming and well-presented overnight. You will perform security checks, monitor CCTV, respond to emergencies and support with overnight cleaning and reception duties, while staying calm and professional through busy periods.

Working independently with reliability and good communication, you’ll help maintain facilities for owners and guests, prepare pools and leisure areas for the morning, and hand over clear reports to the day

Qualifications

• We’re looking for reliable individuals who stay calm and caring, with strong communication in English.
• Experience in night security, hospitality, care, facilities or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular security checks and monitor CCTV.
• Respond to fire alarms and emergencies as required.
• Provide a warm, professional presence for owners and guests overnight.
• Supervise reception and manage overnight calls and inquiries.
• Identify hazards and report maintenance issues or unusual activity.
• Support owners while maintaining professional boundaries and privacy.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across communal areas.
• Complete overnight cleaning, refuse collection and other duties.
• Prepare pool and leisure facilities for the following day and assist with handover to day team.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidential handling of information.
• Follow Health & Safety, Fire Safety and safeguarding procedures.
