Job summary

withyou is seeking an Outreach Recovery Worker for our Stoke-on-Trent team on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2029. The role is 37.5 hours per week, with occasional Saturday shifts on a rota. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential to travel between community locations.

You will engage clients, assess needs, provide harm reduction advice and work with small groups and drop-ins, maintaining a compassionate, respectful approach to all service users.

Qualifications

• Experience in health, social care, criminal justice or related setting.
• Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Commitment to equity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessments and harm reduction advice.
• Engage clients and provide support across the city in communities.
• Manage a small active caseload with compassion and persistence.
